Mt. Zion is committed to making disciples from the streets of Metro Atlanta to the mountains of Peru & Nepal. We invite you to mobilize for missions through serving, going, giving, and praying. We partner with and support many missionaries and missions agencies both in our community and across the globe. We hope you will carefully consider how you can be a part of the Great Commission in our community, our nation, and our world.
Every year Mt. Zion hosts an annual "Missions Fair" where we raise support and set goals for specific missions emphases within our community and to the unreached, including our Annie Armstrong and Lottie Moon offerings.
In addition to these goals, Mt. Zion gives 7% of all undesignated offerings to the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention. This is the cooperating effort of SBC churches seeking to engage in missions both domestically and internationally.
Each year Mt. Zion commits to partnering with a number of mission agencies and projects in our community, nation, and world. We have a mission budget that is dedicated to supporting these opportunities as we seek to make Christ known to all peoples.
Through the IMB, Mt. Zion partners with local believers and missionaries in the Himalaya's of Nepal. We have established a connection with and support a national partner with whom we send teams to work directly to reach these unreached, unengaged people groups.
Mt. Zion has a passion to take the gospel to Peru and we've been doing so since 2013. Through Connect Peru, a ministry of the IMB, Mt. Zion has adopted this unengaged people group high in the Andes Mountains.
Mt. Zion's desires to establish a work in Queretaro, Mexico. This is a location that works well for individuals and families to fulfill the Great Commission where there is great need.
