First Pursuit

First Pursuit Equipping Courses will meet from Feb. 12 - April 30, 2017.  The course options for the semester are:

Teacher:  Jason Roberts

“Do not judge.” “Where two or more are gathered ...” “I have plans to prosper you ...” “You will not be given more than you can handle.” “Train up a child ...” “Where there is no vision ...” Etc., etc. This 8-10 week course is designed to study and discuss many of the most misused verses in the Bible. Our goal will be to understand these passages in their proper context so that we protect ourselves from misapplying these important truths.

Teacher:  Michael Martin

Is it harder for you to change and grow as a Christian than it should be? Is your Christian witness not nearly as strong as it should be? Do you ever wonder what is holding you back? Have you considered that it might be idolatry? Over the course of 8 weeks, this class will focus on how idolatry is more rampant in our lives than we realize. It will help all of us to take an honest look at the inner workings of our hearts, and set us on a corrective course that will help us to mature in our relationships with Jesus; for the good of others, for the glory of God and for our own benefit.

Teacher:  Polly Balint

This ladies study will focus on Ephesians 6 and the armor of God. A study guide will be provided at no charge. Please register no later than Sunday, Feb. 5 in order to secure your study guide. This will be a great study to follow our recent sermon series in Ephesians.

Teacher:  Doug Mulkey

This will be an 8 week study of the 7 churches that are found in the book of Revelation. The study will help you understand the letters written to the churches with a focus on making application to the church today.
