History
The Mt. Zion Baptist Mother’s
Morning Out program was established in December
1992. The Preschool program was added in 1993.
The primary purpose is to render a service to
the children of this community. The Preschool
is sponsored by Mt. Zion Baptist Church and is
maintained by registration dues and tuition fees.
The governing body is the Preschool committee
composed of the Director, the Minister of Education,
a Deacon Member, a Public Educator, and others
deemed necessary according to the position they
may hold in the church. This committee meets quarterly
to review the progress and review needs of the
Program and the children. Mt. Zion Baptist Church
is a Bible believing, preaching, and teaching
church. We are members of the Southern Baptist
Association. All biblical material used in our
program is scripture related.
